Our team in Finland

Antero Rasilainen. Executive Director, based in Kouvola. He is responsible for Mikkeli, Kuopio, and Tampere dioceses; He also manages Church connections and networking with the Ingrian Church. antero.rasilainen@evankeliset.net

Satu Kivisaari. Regional Director (Ostrobothnia), based in Lapua and responsible for Lapua and Oulu dioceses. She manages church connections, networking, mission education and communications.

Joona Toivanen. Mission director, who is responsible for Pirkanmaa area and international Church connections including all matters concerning mission work. joona.toivanen@evankeliset.net

Virpi Tuominiemi. Office Manager based in Karstula. Responsible for FLEM memberships, newsletters, marketing materials and general office tasks.

 

Our missionaries

Kari Tynkkynen. Kari serves as the parish priest for the congregations of Kullamaa, Mihkli, and Piirsalu in the Western Estonian deanery. He is an experienced missionary, having worked both in Africa and Estonia. Kari is an ordained pastor in both the LECA Church (a Lutheran church in Zambia) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Estonia. 

Oiva Hujanen. Oiva serves as a spiritual mentor in the Tallinn deanery. He provides support and guidance to the members of local churches in Estonia in order to encourage voulunteers. In Finland, Oiva works as a regional pastor, focusing on mission education and proclamation ministry in Southern Finland.

Pia and Tero Ruotsala. The Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church has invited Pia and Tero to work in Estonia, where both are working in the Mission Center. Pia’s work focuses on the management and development of global Church Family Counselling ministry, while Tero is engaged in youth music ministry, media ministry and outreach work. Global Church Family Counselling (CFC) has been implemented especially in work together with the Lutheran Church of Cambodia.

Titta Hämäläinen. Titta’s work at FLEM includes supporting and training child and youth workers in the Estonian Church, organizing networking days, and developing biblical studies programs. Additionally, Titta works part-time as the mission education secretary in Lauritsala Parish, Finland.

Merja Kramsu is the secretary for international affairs at the central office of the Ingrian Church in St. Petersburg. Her duties also include serving as the bishop’s secretary in the Ingrian Church.

Anu Mannermaa is a joint missionary of FLEM and Wycliffe Bible Translators. She is working on a Bible translation project for the Evenki language. The Evenki people are the largest indigenous group in Siberia, also residing in China and Mongolia.

Tuula Kosonen. Tuula is a joint missionary of FLEM and Wycliffe Bible Translators and works as part of a team translating the Bible into the Ake language spoken in Northern Thailand.
